LIFECYCLE
Most Cryptanthus
have a 2-3 year lifespan from a small offset. Once mature, they enter the
blooming stage and produce new offsets. Their bloom is a small tuft of
white flowers within the center of the plant. After the blooming stage, they
usually live another 4-8 months then die. They prefer to grow in soil, not
on trees.
