SIZESoffset- May or may not have root and is at least 1/3 of the mature size. mature- Has some root and coming into color but not yet in bloom. LIFECYCLE Most Neoregelia have a 2-3 year lifespan from an offset. Once mature, they soon enter the blooming stage and produce new offsets. After the blooming stage, they live another 6-12 months then die. Their blooms are not very showy- just a small tuft of purple flowers inside the "cup" of the plant.
