LIFECYCLE
Most Neoregelia have a 2-3 year lifespan from an offset. Once mature, they soon enter the blooming stage and produce new offsets. After the blooming stage, they live another 6-12 months then die. Their blooms are not very showy- just a small tuft of purple flowers inside the "cup" of the plant.

CICLO DE VIDA
La mayoría tienen un Neoregelia 2-3 años de vida útil de un desplazamiento. Una vez maduros, pronto entrará en la fase floración y producción de nuevas compensaciones. Después de la etapa de floración, viven otro 6-12 meses después mueren. Sus flores no son muy muestra, sólo un pequeño mechón de flores de color púrpura dentro de la "taza" de la planta.

CYCLE DE VIE
Partant d’un rejet, la plupart des Neoregelia ont une durée de vie de 2-3 ans. Une fois matures, ils vont vite arriver au stade de floraison et produire de nouveaux rejets. Après la phase de floraison, ils vivent encore environ 6-12 mois avant de mourir. Leurs fleurs ne sont pas très tape-à-l’oeil, juste une petite touffe de fleurs violettes à l'intérieur du calice de la plante.

offset- Kindel können, müssen aber keine Wurzeln haben und haben mindestens ein Drittel der ausgewachsenen Größe.
mature- Ausgewachsene Pflanzen haben einige Wurzeln und sind dabei sich auszufärben, aber blühen noch nicht.

Lebenszyklus
Von einem Kindel ausgehend, haben die meisten Neoregelia eine Lebensdauer von 2-3 Jahren. Einmal ausgewachsen, beginnen sie bald zu blühen und produzieren neue Kindel. Nach der Blüte leben sie noch etwa 6-12 Monate bevor sie sterben. Ihre Blüten sind nicht besonders auffällig, nur ein kleines Büschel lila Blüten im Inneren des Kelchs.
