Quesnelia
This is a relatively
hard-to-find family of bromeliads that mostly come from Brazil.
They are similar to Billbergia
sp., but unlike Billbergia, the
bloom on some Quesnelia
lasts for weeks. These tend to
produce just one pup at a time, which will grow following along cracks,
crevices, and groves in logs. Outdoors, they can take full sun or
partial sun. They seem to grow well indoors in low light as well.
