This homeowner came to us because he had
a triple Christmas Palm (Adonidia merrillii)
outgrowing his pool screen. We removed the Christmas Palm and
transplanted it to the front yard where it can grow as tall as it wants.
It was replaced with a Pigmy Date Palm (Phoenix roebellinii)
and bromeliads.
Poolside planter: Pigmy Date Palm in
background with purple striped bromeliad (Aechmea 'Black
Chantinii'), a couple of green and red
bromeliads (Neoregelia Orange Crush),
a couple of Dwarf Oleander 'Petite Pinks', and a bromeliad with an
orange bloom (Guzmania sp).
Front: Christmas Palm triple (Adonidia
merrillii) was moved from the lanai to
the front yard. It is surrounded by Blueberry Flax Lily (Dianella
tasmanica), and a row of Dwarf
Bougainvillea with reddish flowers.
Lanai Planter: Weeping MacArthur Palm
(Ptychosperma sp.) with Blue
Plumbago bushes around it and a Blueberry Flax Lily behind.
Poolside planter: Dwarf Oleander 'Petite
Pink' and a couple of Cordyline.
