*NEW*Areca
catechu 'Dwarf'
This palm is highly
sought after by collectors world-wide. It eventually develops a
trunk and will produce seed. It likes moderate fertilizer and can
take cool temps down to about 40 deg F before getting leaf burn.
We find that it is actually more cold-tolerant than the standard Areca
catechu.
Dypsis lutescens 'Vietnam Dwarf'
A mutant Golden
Cane Palm (Areca Palm) out of Vietnam. This one holds dark green
upright leaves and has beautiful gold petioles. It stays about 16
inches tall as long as you separate the canes (which is easy to do).
Makes a great potted plant and prefers to be dry.

Dypsis lutescens 'Thai Dwarf'
This is a daintly
clustering palm from Thailand. Its leaves are kind of wispy and it
produces many canes. It will eventually produce a small trunk
after decades of growth as it is fairly slow. The canes can be
divided easily and planted in separate pots!
*NEW*
Rhapis laoensis 'Dwarf'
Unlike any other
Lady Palm, this dwarf has leaves measuring just 3-4 inches long and they
are eithier singular of bifid. It is a slow grower but produces
many offsets. Very drought-tolerant and grows well in low light
conditions.
Rhapis 'Super Dwarf'
We consider this to
be the smallest palm in the world! Its max height is about 6
inches, but it can "mound up" to about 10 inches if allowed to grow for
a while. The canes seem to grow on top of each other. It
will produce small flower clusters but will never set seed because there
is only one gender in cultivation! Makes a perfect potted plant.

*NEW*Rhapis excelsa KOBAN- Koban's Lady Palm
While this palm is
similar to the common Lady Palm, it differs in having wider leaflets
which are kind of "lobey". Each frond is divided only 2-4 times.
It is a fairly slow grower but one of the toughest Lady Palms in the
world- surviving drought and very low light with no problem.
*NEW*Rhapis excelsa
TAIHEIDEN- The King of Green Kannonchiku
This palm is called
The King because it produces huge, thick green leaves and a thick trunk.
It is a slow grower, but well worth the wait. Each leaf can get up
to 12-14 inches wide once mature and its trunk is about 1 inch in
diameter. Grows in full sun or shade and indoors of course!
